My home double this week is Villa to beat Fulham and Wigan to take maximum points against poor West Brom.
Many people criticized Martin O’Neill last week for his tactics against United but I think he got them spot on. Villa’s home form had been inconsistent and any point against a top 4 team is welcome.
Fulham got a great point last weekend and will be in good spirits but I fancy Villa to nick the three points in front of an enthusiastic home support.

The NFL season is well underway and after Sunday’s Wembley game now seems as good a time as any to take a look at how things stand. The first thing I should mention is how dismally the teams I picked in my preview post have done. So far, only the New England Patriots (5-2) are sitting top of their division and the Dallas Cowboys (5-3) are the only one of my other picks to have a winning record, but are still only third in their division. At this stage, the Indianapolis Colts (3-4), the San Diego Chargers (3-5) and the Kansas City Chiefs (1-6) are yet to cover themselves, or me, in glory.

Well done to Lee for winning this week’s free bet. He correctly chose Rivaldo’s stunner that not only won Barca the match, but got them qualification for the following season’s Champions League. All this week’s goals were scored by Frenchmen, and all of them are volleys of the highest order.
